PALTO JACKET WITH DRAW

For the Spring-Summer 2021 ready-to-wear show, Maria Grazia Chiuri presents a new piece called Dior Palto. The model is inspired by the Diopaletot creation designed for the 1957 Autumn-Winter collection and presented in Japan by Daimaru in collaboration with Christian Dior. The piece is crafted from navy blue cotton denim with a slightly faded effect and worn without a collar, and features a straight cut and large patch pockets. A long tone-on-tone cord serves as a belt and enhances the waist. The jacket fits the silhouette with elegance and daring while maintaining its casual and comfortable style, an ode to freedom of movement. Maria Grazia Chiuri develops her committed approach to the origin of fashion, the type of cut and the essence of the garment.
